Living and working in nature is not a summer job for us, it’s a lifestyle, based on years and years of spending time here, learning skills, and developing the Paddler's Inn, so that we can share with you both the wonders of nature, and an enhanced ability to interact with and care for the earth that supports us.

Our primary goal at the Paddler's Inn is to share with you the beauty of the British Columbia coastal environment, allowing you to feel comfortable and safe as you experience the inter tidal zone, wildlife, waterways of the Broughton Archipelago, and sea kayaking in BC. Some people simply arrive looking for a sea side retreat, while others come for family kayaking holidays or guided kayak tours.
Allow for the opportunity to breath in the vibrant ocean oxygenated air, watch bears eat their breakfast of shellfish from the inter tidal zone, or explore the shoreline from the comfort of a kayak. Observe the natural light of morning and sunset, and wide expansive starlit sky that is only possible far from urban centers.
Paddle along protected shoreline, or explore on foot the forest lands and beaches that surround us. 
Share in conversation and education around a table brimming with fresh salads, veggies, and healthy foods in abundance.
KAYAKING IN COMFORT
Even if the days you choose turn out to demonstrate the rain that nourishes and defines this region as temperate rain forest, you can rest assured that a nice hot shower, sauna, and a cozy bed at days end provides for a restful and rejuvenating sleep.
